A guide for people weighing care
Your questions belong before sermorelin treatment.
Curious about it? Unsure what to trust? Choose the question closest to yours, then take a clearer question into a care visit.

What is the treatment, in a breath?
Sermorelin sends a signal to the pituitary, a small gland sitting beneath the brain. The signal tells it to release growth hormone, a chemical messenger made inside the body.
Growth hormone helps children grow; a shortage can slow their growth.
Adults make growth hormone too, but raising its level has not been shown here to bring lasting benefits for ageing.
Sermorelin sends the signal; the gland releases the growth hormone. They are different substances.
Source EThe initials FDA mean Food and Drug Administration, the US medicines regulator.
As of September 28, 2026, any sermorelin sold in the US lacks FDA product approval.
That does not mean nothing is sold: a pharmacy may prepare it under rules explained in the pharmacy notes.

Is the uncertainty about the medicine itself, the evidence, or the care you might get?

What would you hope to change?
Perhaps sleep is the question. Perhaps it is body shape, or simply whether an offer sounds real. Name that goal before weighing a treatment.
The old approvals covered a test of hormone release and treatment for children growing too slowly because of a hormone shortage. They did not cover adult sleep, energy or ageing.

What can I ask before agreeing to anything?
- Which health concern are we addressing, and what would a worthwhile result look like?
- What evidence fits someone in my situation?
- Who would make the medicine, and who would answer my questions?
- What is included in the written price, and how can I end the arrangement?
